“We are small growers across Italy who care for our plants as part of the family. Their fruit expresses their nature and wellbeing. Rather than lose that individuality in a standardised product, we chose to join NOÛS – Vini di Luce.”
The cooperative brings together growers following what they call ‘light and carbon’ agriculture and the Vini di Luce approach developed by Alessandro Filippi, who describes himself as a vitologist.
Their intention is to preserve the work of the vineyard through indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, gentle filtration and a small number of considered interventions following natural rhythms. The aim is wine that expresses the flavours and character of its origins.
