Wine Governo Winemakers United distributes wines from Veneto. It brings together people who love their region and want to strengthen the relationships between those who care for it through farming, hospitality and creativity.
The name draws on the idea of governo as thoughtful stewardship: care, support and the strengthening of one’s own abilities and those of others. It evokes dignity, dedication and the ability to hold the helm. Working together returns that guidance to the community through shared experience that is both open and purposeful.
Individuality remains essential to the group. Beyond the solitary work of vineyard and cellar, growers need discussion, exchange and mutual help. WineGoverno is a collective story built from each grower’s relationship with their own place, shared values and responsibilities, and the sense of belonging that encourages people to act for the common good.
The original event presentation names La Caneva di Giancarlo and Impronta Agricola as attending in person, alongside other producers’ wines available to taste.
