Trapan Winery is Bruno Trapan and Irena Šoštarić Trapan’s life project at Šišan in southern Istria. Since 2005, respect for natural cycles and biodynamic principles has shaped their work.
Twelve hectares are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, with attention to lunar rhythms, seasons and soil life. During the pandemic, they left the vineyards untreated for a year, an experience they associate with greater resilience and deeper expression in the wines.
