Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne – Evoluzione Naturale

Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne takes its name from the cadastral locality where many of its vineyards stand. On the outskirts of Urbino, within the Monti delle Cesane natural park, the winery began in 2008 by restoring more than three hectares of old vineyards and planting a further six. Varieties include Bianchello and Sangiovese dei Colli Pesaresi, alongside Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Albana, Aleatico and Alicante.

The organic estate makes wines through spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and skin contact, without corrective treatments, fining or filtration. Tradition guides its production choices.

For Paola and Leonardo Cossi, respect for nature is a way of working and living. They describe their wines as wholesome rather than simply natural, an expression of their belief in fully artisanal production without cellar manipulation.
