Rocco di Carpeneto makes radical wines at Carpeneto, near Alessandria, on a plateau among Alto Monferrato’s hills in the part of Piedmont closest to the sea.
Production focuses exclusively on native Cortese, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Albarossa and Nebbiolo, with old vineyards planted mainly between 1955 and 1986.
