Radiz is Callmewine’s first project developed directly in the cellar, in collaboration with artisanal Italian wineries. Its aim is to create expressive wines through environmentally considerate farming and minimal intervention.
The motto, ‘Zero rules, low impact, 100% wine’, captures a spirit of curiosity and freedom. The inverted root in the logo symbolises depth, memory and a forward-looking outlook. Vineyard practices minimise chemical inputs, while restrained winemaking preserves the grapes’ character and sense of place.
The project brings together Bortolomiol, Denavolo, Girlan and La Staffa. The selection described for Evoluzione Naturale features two collaborations.
La Staffa x Radiz — SP, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore: from a vineyard planted in the 1980s at 350 metres in San Paolo di Jesi. Vinified in concrete and matured on fine lees, it combines broom blossom and white peach notes with lively freshness and a savoury finish.
Denavolo x Radiz — Freevolo: a characterful white by Giulio Armani, made from old vines through spontaneous fermentation without added sulphites. Textured, fruity and fresh, it reflects its origins clearly.
