Agricola Le Nuvole tackles social exclusion by helping disadvantaged women and men play an active part in a community farming project. Led by Fondazione Ferdinando Bagnale Onlus and AIAS Melfi Matera, this ambitious initiative has grown into a successful venture.
Based in the Vulture area, the estate tends its vineyards according to organic farming principles. For the young people involved, working the land has become a way of life.
Agricola Le Nuvole’s wines begin with hand-picked grapes and spontaneous fermentation. From there, patience allows each wine to develop its fullest expression.
