In the hills around Treviso, between Osigo, Colle Umberto and San Fior, Massimo Coletti follows a simple, uncompromising philosophy: more work with the hoe, fewer chemicals.
The family farm covers 4.5 hectares divided into eight plots, each with its own identity. Three landscapes shape the vineyards: the limestone hills of Osigo, the moraine soils of Colle Umberto and the alluvial ground of San Fior.
Vineyard work is carried out by hand, without herbicides or synthetic products. Hedges, fruit trees, flowers and wild plants grow alongside the vines, creating a varied environment that supports biodiversity.
In the cellar, Coletti follows the traditional practices of Vin Colfondo. Each plot is vinified and bottled separately: he sees soil as the voice of wine, with changes in the ground giving each vineyard a different expression. Keeping those identities separate is both a practical choice and a responsibility.
Massimo Coletti shares the values of Evoluzione Naturale. His wines reveal the diversity of the Treviso hills through an approach to farming that puts the land first.
