After travelling across France to learn winegrowing, Nicolas Duhesme found a home in the Corbières with his partner Priscilla. Lou Vin Amor connects their love of wine with the courtly love of Occitan troubadours, evoking respect, kindness and harmony.
The estate is at Lagrasse in southern France. Its original profile describes 2.5 hectares of Carignan, Syrah and Merlot undergoing organic conversion. Winemaking takes place nearby at Mayronnes in the Dagne valley, with spontaneous fermentation, manual crushing and no filtration.
Tractor passes are limited, compost and natural fertilisers come from local farms, bottles and cartons are recycled, and reclaimed materials are preferred. The aim is direct, living wine that reflects both the land and its growers.
