“An insolent wine begins with an insolent idea. Insolente is a family project rooted in our passion for life, community, nature and place; wine is its natural consequence.” These are the words of Luca Elettri, an advertising professional and longstanding natural-wine enthusiast. His children initiated the estate and run it themselves.
The project continues three generations of family winegrowing, previously supplying the local cooperative while keeping a little wine for home. Its hillside Garganega vineyards at Monteforte d’Alpone, in the classic Soave area, include vines more than fifty years old on highly varied soils.
Those differences inspired a deliberately diverse range, seeking individuality rather than standardisation. It includes bottle-refermented wines, reds, traditional-method sparkling Durella and Pinot Grigio. The original profile describes twelve wines and around 25,000 bottles in total.
Freshness and directness define the approach, reflecting Luca’s openness and willingness to listen.
