Il Guscio d’Oro is rooted in family winegrowing traditions and a love of the land, in Maser in the Asolo hills. Andrea Marotta grew up among the vines and memories of his grandfather, and has brought the family vineyards back to life with a modern, environmentally respectful outlook.
Local varieties such as Glera, Bianchetta and Rabbiosa grow alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Merlot. Sustainable, artisanal methods avoid herbicides and follow nature’s rhythms and natural winemaking traditions. The only addition is a small amount of sulphur dioxide, with a stated maximum of 35 mg/l in the wines.
Vineyard work is entirely manual, from mowing to shoot trimming, and plant protection is limited to what is strictly necessary. The aim is to express the Asolo hills, their landscape and their longstanding traditions.
Each bottle tells a story of passion, effort and care for nature: an invitation to rediscover authentic flavours and enjoy time together.
