Founded in 1901, Foradori is based in Mezzolombardo, near Trento, in the heart of Campo Rotaliano. Emilio, Theo and Myrtha Zierock continue its commitment to the historic local Teroldego variety.
The estate has worked biodynamically since 2002. Alongside wine, it is developing vegetable growing and Alpine Grey cattle farming for cheese production.
The original profile lists twenty-eight hectares: fourteen owned in Campo Rotaliano, nine under a fifty-year lease at Fontanasanta, and five supplying grapes from team members. Annual production is approximately 160,000 bottles. Campo Rotaliano has alluvial gravel and sand soils, while Fontanasanta is predominantly clay and limestone.
