Francesco Fezzigna founded the farm in 1957 at Caraconessa, between Umbriatico and Cirò, at around 100 metres. Mineral-rich sandstone-derived soils and day-to-night temperature differences described as reaching twenty degrees shape the native grapes.
Three generations have passed on experience and passion. The estate reports organic and Melissa DOC certification from 2015 and manages all stages from growing through bottling itself.
Four hectares of owned vineyards supply small-scale production of reds, whites and rosés associated with Calabria IGP and Melissa DOC. Attention to detail and local tradition guide the work.
