Domaine des Entrefaux expresses the character of the northern Rhône through precise, expressive wines and a commitment to thoughtful farming.
Charles Tardy established the Domaine at Chanos-Curson in 1979. His son François and François’s wife Anne, representing the family’s fifth generation, continue its work with a focus on balance and biodiversity.
The 28 hectares of vineyards are certified organic and farmed with biodynamic practices. Plots in Beaumont-Monteux, Mercurol and Chanos-Curson combine clay, limestone and stony soils. Syrah, Marsanne and Roussanne grow alongside small amounts of Viognier and Chardonnay.
Spontaneous fermentation and gentle cellar work are followed by maturation in stainless steel, concrete eggs or oak, selected to suit each wine. White and red Crozes-Hermitage form the heart of the range, balancing finesse, depth and drinkability.
