Founded by Anne-Camille Boucher, Domaine de L’Accalmie lies on the clay and limestone hills of the Vère valley in Gaillac, south-western France. Its approximately 4.5 hectares are farmed organically, with close attention to biodiversity and the surrounding ecosystem of oak woodland. Red varieties include Duras, Braucol, Syrah and Merlot; the whites include Mauzac, Loin de l’Oeil and Sauvignon.
Anne-Camille’s traditional, minimal-intervention approach draws on years of experience in different French wine regions and a period in Oregon. Wines such as L’Indécis and Sous le Chêne express the local terroir, preserving the character of the grapes without added winemaking aids.
Domaine de L’Accalmie brings together tradition and respect for the environment in natural wines that reflect the history and landscape of the Vère valley.
