Cantina Nima grew from the friendship of Pasquale Nigro and Michele Maddalena, who share a love of wine and the land. Pasquale owns a farm and an Aglianico vineyard. In 2021 they decided to use part of the harvest to make their own wine.
“Respect the land and its balance. Respect the vineyard through thoughtful farming. Respect fermentation by using indigenous yeasts. Respect wine as you would a person: someone carrying a world, a story and an atmosphere, with the flavour of the land they come from. We want to make natural, simple wine, just as we try to be ourselves.”
