Angelo is the third generation of the Muto family to work these vineyards. Together, the family is committed to preserving Irpinia’s agricultural heritage and championing the area they call home.
For more than ten years, Cantina dell’Angelo has made artisan wines from its own five hectares of Greco vineyards, using farming practices designed to minimise their environmental impact. Like his father and grandfather before him, Angelo places soil health at the heart of his work, pursuing a cleaner approach to agriculture that respects nature.
Alongside Il Cancelliere and Cantina del Barone, Cantina dell’Angelo is a member of V.i.T.I. — Vignaioli in Terra d’Irpinia.
