Bbirbiciù was founded in 2020 by young partners on Pantelleria, inspired by the island’s distinctive landscape and heritage.
The project seeks to recover traditional techniques and demanding forms of farming at risk of disappearing: work carried out by hand, without machinery, closely connected to inherited knowledge.
Working with others who share the island’s outlook and sense of place, Bbirbiciù aims to make more than good wine. Its wines communicate a landscape shaped by millennia of culture and support the preservation of the farming traditions behind them.
