Azienda Agricola Alberto Lot is a young estate on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, along the upper reaches of the Livenza river. Created to bring family land back into production, it has its cellar in Sacile, in the province of Pordenone, and vineyards on gravel and peat soils at Palù di Francenigo, near Treviso.
Since 2017, the estate has grown only Bronner, a PIWI grape variety with strong resistance to fungal diseases, using organic methods. Spontaneous fermentation, no fining and no filtration preserve the wines’ close connection with their origins.
The range includes Fior de Lot Metodo Classico, a refined traditional-method sparkling wine; Fior de Lot Frizzante, a lively, lightly sparkling white bottled with its sediment, or col fondo; and Filari Margherita, a still white with freshness and complexity.
