On January 27โ28 in Grottaglie (TA), at the Ancient Capuchin Convent, a rich program of events dedicated to artisanal wines
Stories of wine, passion, and ideals. Stories of men and women who, in perfect harmony with their land, produce exceptional wines. A narrative to listen to and taste on **January 27โ28** at the **Ancient Capuchin Convent** in **Grottaglie (TA)**, the historic city where, for centuries, the land has united the skilled hands of master ceramists to create magnificent works in pottery.
**โEvoluzione Naturaleโ** will offer wine tastings, conferences, and informal meetings with more than 30 winemakers from all over Italy. Two full days entirely dedicated to getting to know the producers, who will share with both industry professionals and visitors their natural philosophyโa process that translates into respect for the environment, both in the vineyard and in daily life.
Guiding visitors through this story of vineyards, wineries, and territories will be **Sandro Sangiorgi**, food and wine journalist and founder of *Porthos Racconta*, a school and publishing house dedicated to promoting wine and food culture. Alongside Sangiorgi will be **Matteo Gallello**, an expert in the natural wine movement in Italy and abroad and editor of *Porthos Edizioni*.
It will be **Sandro Sangiorgi** who kicks off the two-day event with an enticing preview. For wine lovers eager to discover the beauty of this appointment, a tasting workshop titled **โFor a New Approachโ** will take place on **January 26**โa true sensory experience blending wine, faces, aromas, images, and words.
The official program will open on **January 27 at 9:30 a.m.** inside the small church of the Ancient Capuchin Convent (now deconsecrated), with a conference titled **โThe Wine of Its Time: Changing Climate and the Role of Biodynamics.โ** This public discussion on the impact of global warming on viticulture and winemaking will feature **Sante Laviola**, climatologist and CNR researcher; **Michele Lorenzetti**, biodynamic consultant; and **Piero Riccardi**, documentarian and producer from Olevano Romano.
Additionally, there will be exhibitions, tasting tables featuring the best wineries from across Italy, and three tasting workshops focused on **Southern Italian reds**, **distilled spirits**, and **cheeses**โall artisanally produced.
In short, **โEvoluzione Naturaleโ** will be a unique opportunity to meet and hear stories directly from those who produce and intimately know their wine. The festival looks to the past to rediscover a more artisanal and environmentally respectful approach to viticulture.
**The event is organized by Intersezioni and Fatรฌa Srls**, who annually present the eno-cultural festival *โVino รจ Musicaโ*, whose 10th edition will take place in July in the historic Ceramic District of Grottaglie (TA). The event also involves collaboration with the Municipality of Grottaglie, GAL Magna Grecia, Confagricoltura Taranto, Sistema Museo, and the Slow Food Association *โVigne e Ceramiche.โ*
