May 8\u20139 in Puglia, the third edition of Evoluzione Naturale<\/strong>

\n\nTastings, samplings, and conferences: these are just some of the key ingredients of Evoluzione Naturale, the artisanal wine fair that returns\u2014after the hiatus caused by the Covid pandemic\u2014to Grottaglie (TA). Conceived by Fat\u00eca, the event will take place on January 23 and 24, 2022.

\n\nIn Puglia, at the end of January, the focus returns to natural wine. On May 8 and 9, 2022, the artisans of sustainable wine from across Italy will gather in the city renowned as the queen of table grapes, to share their stories through tastings, samplings, and conferences.

\n\nAt Evoluzione Naturale, this narrative will unfold inside the Ancient Capuchin Convent, overlooking the old Gravina del Fullonese in Grottaglie\u2014a city internationally known for its artistic ceramics, just twenty kilometers from Taranto. Here, where environmental protection is more relevant than ever, the land must truly return to the center of human life.

\n\nThanks to the collaboration of Matteo Gallello, wine journalist and expert in food and wine publishing, conferences, thematic workshops, and tasting labs will be organized with the participation of renowned guests. In particular, the opening conference of the third edition will be a deep dive into the use of clay and its relationship with wine, featuring Elisabetta Foradori, winemaker from Mezzolombardo and one of the first in Italy to study and use amphorae for the vinification of Teroldego, Nosiola, and other varieties.

\n\nDuring the two-day event in Puglia, winemakers will present tastings open to the public, to the horeca sector, and to enthusiasts, with the goal of spreading awareness of philosophies and working methods, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, in complete harmony with nature.

\n\nEvoluzione Naturale is hosted within the halls of the Ancient Capuchin Convent. Founded in the 14th century by the Capuchin friars, the building has experienced different uses throughout the centuries\u2014becoming a poorhouse in the 19th century and, from 1925, also a girls\u2019 boarding school. After years of abandonment, the historic structure has been returned to the city as a cultural hub that now hosts cultural events and contemporary art exhibitions.
