In Grottaglie (TA), January 25–27, 2020, the second edition of Evoluzione Naturale: the Apulian fair dedicated to natural and ethical wines

Two months before the second edition of the first Apulian fair dedicated to natural wines, *Evoluzione Naturale* is already overbooked with registrations.

The previous edition, held inside the Ancient Capuchin Convent in Grottaglie, brought together more than thirty winemakers from all over Italy and just as many represented by their distributors (over 60 companies in total), coming from Slovenia and Spain. For the second edition, France has already confirmed its participation.

The fair, which received great acclaim from winemakers, will open the second edition with a flavorful preview. On Saturday, January 25, 2020, Sandro Sangiorgi, food and wine journalist, founder of Porthos Racconta and an influential, independent voice in the natural wine world, will lead a sensory workshop titled “The Sense of Wine and the Gesture of the Glass”. He will be joined by Matteo Gallello, an expert in the natural wine movement in Italy and abroad, and editor of Porthos Edizioni.

Six natural wine labels will be tasted to engage the senses and discover what we truly love.

For both professionals and the general public, Evoluzione Naturale (January 26–27) will be a unique opportunity to meet and hear stories directly from those who make and deeply understand wine.

The two-day event will begin with an engaging conference moderated by Sangiorgi, titled “Spontaneous Fermentations – Competence in Unpredictability”. Among the speakers: Giacomo Buscioni, founding partner of FoodMicroTeam S.r.l., a spin-off of the University of Florence, serving as Technical-Scientific Manager for the fermented beverages sector. An expert in wine microbiology, he is a consultant for several wineries. Also speaking will be Christian Zanatta, considered by many as the most talented among the new generation of winemakers who have emerged on the Prosecco scene in recent years.

Two intense days featuring wine tastings, meetings, and workshops, entirely dedicated to natural culture and philosophy.

The event is organized by Fatìa Srls, partner of the eno-cultural festival “Vino è Musica”, whose 11th edition will take place in July in Grottaglie’s historic Ceramic District (TA).
